Fairlane Distribution Center
Anyone who builds in the Pittsburgh market knows of its topographical and seasonal construction challenges. Developing a regional industrial park takes highly skilled developers with a great level of flexibility to rectify the challenges of a given site with the constraints of a competitive national market.
Wesex is pleased to be able to leverage its skills to add value to the development team by utilizing our core competencies: Architecture, Construction, Real Estate Solutions, and Technology.
This project is part of Castlebrook Development’s Master Plan for Big Beaver Borough, where 3 or 4 new buildings will occupy the site totaling more than 1,000,000 square feet. The site is a great a place to situate a large industrial building proximate to the regional highway system within a market that does not have a current inventory of Class A Distribution/Industrial buildings.
This specific facility will come in right around 400,000 square feet and will be built using the Tilt-Up Construction method to accelerate the construction schedule. It is designed as flex space for warehouse or distribution tenants. The building will be modular, meaning that it can support 1-4 tenants depends on the preferred fit-out once tenants are defined.
